and simplicity. This may explain why she has been chosen by charter
companies as a favourite bareboat option. Intuitive, simple form and
function delivering a superior sailing experience. This yacht has never
been chartered however.
She has teak decks in the cockpit, Side deck and coach roof
are anti-slide, self tailing working winches, and 2 self tailing 2 speed genoa winches with tensioners
and lines leading to the cockpit. Manual and electric bilge pumps,
whilst the anchor locker is self draining as is the gas cylinder
container. There is a cockpit shower as well as the internal heads
shower, boarding ladder, etc.
This Bavaria was bought by a client who upgraded from his last boat, which he also had from new to this one 5 years ago. He has obviously taken care of her to the same standard, if not higher than his previous yacht and many upgrades
from the manufacturer have been implemented, including the addition of an extra
working battery, a 1000w electric windlass, a 12v refrigerator, a GPS at
the helm, a 220v automatic charger, an additional 150 litres of drinking
water bringing the total to 300 litres, double the norm, which is heated by a 220v fresh
water boiler as well as engine power, a 40 litre sewage holding tank,
an autopilot ST-4000 integrated with the ST-60 Tridata system, a
dodger for added cockpit protection, a reefing main sail a Jenniker and
small thoughtful touches such as a spare winch handle.
