Retingy is a strong long keel sea boat, launched in South Africa in 1988, the hull was
professionaly built by Cape Vickers from cold moulded ply, with fibreglass sheathing.
She is similar to a Fisher in external appearance.
She was completed by the current owners.
Since then she has circumnavigated the world.
She is solid, spacious and functional and has been the permanent home of a family of 4
and therefore cosmetically in need of a little TLC.
She is cutter rigged and there are two suits of sails. She also
has an Aries windvane.
The engine is a Volvo Penta 43 HP Turbo.
The accommodation consist of a double cabin in the forepeak,
open plan to the main saloon with galley with plenty of cupboard and storage space, 2
burner cooker with oven and grill. Heads with shower. Aft there is a self contained double
sleeping area, without full standing headroom.
She carries 500 l water
and 1000 l fuel
Depth sounder (new) Steering compass, Lewmar winches, holding
tank, Plenty of fuel and fresh water tankage.
